Bike Fitting Philosophy

The bike fitting technique is designed to screen cyclists with the aim of achieving optimal cycling function. It correlates physical cycling forces with physiological effects and then correlates those physiological effects with the rider’s sensations and the visual movement cues observed by the fitter.

The process has been described as the world’s best bike fitting method for finding individual optimization. It is recognized by the IBFI (International Bike Fitting Institute) & taught with the goal of fitters attaining IBFI accreditation.

It does not use any prescriptive, pre-determined ranges or formulas and has been proven to achieve the greatest accuracy in saddle height setting, consistently positive results, and client satisfaction.

The technique relies on executing the correct process, as opposed to putting numbers in computers. By working through the techniques to evaluate extension, flexion and balance, the perfect bike ride is only a fit away…
